  • Watch the water content of your concrete.  Too web concrete creates inconsistencies in the color and finish of both integral color and color hardener.

  • Stamping concrete before it has properly set can cause bumps and waviness in the slab and tends to trap water and make pockets between the concrete and tool.

  • Make sure you have enough stamping tools to install the project.  You should be able to span the slab and have one tool to start the next row of stamping.

  • Taking your time cutting in joints, edges, and along walls; extra care with hand cutting makes the difference between a poor and a great job.

  • Protecting the surrounding area prior to placing concrete.  This is the key to minimizing customer complaints.  Concrete, color, sealer are difficult to remove from surrounding surfaces.
